Ard, Wood, Holcombe and Slate, Architects and Planners an architecture/interiors firm specializing in healthcare, commercial, residential, educational, industrial and religious project designs. AWHS Architects has a combined partner experience level of over 70 years. Our work covers the southeastern portion of the U.S. that emphasizes integrated architectural and interior design services, providing comprehensive building design, and focusing on client service. We are seeking candidates for the following positions:

Intern Architect

Ard, Wood, Holcombe and Slate, Architects and Planners seeks an Intern Architect actively pursuing registration. Position responsibilities include managing projects from design to document production, researching building codes, space and site requirements, participating in site visits and field verification, reviewing contractor submittals, and coordinating with clients and project consultants.

This position will provide exposure to all phases of a project as well as IDP mentoring and support needed to obtain registration.

Candidates should have a degree in architecture; at least 2-5 years experience, strong design and production skills, proficiency in AutoCAD/Architectural Desktop, great communication skills and possess the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
